Sam Litt was announced as Saguaro's new Director of Bands in 2023 after he served as the assistant band director at Arcadia High School where the band earned first place prize at the state championship.  Most recently Mr. Litt served as the band and orchestra director at Ingleside Middle School.  While at Ingleside, he revitalized the instrumental music program and created the jazz program which was previously absent from the school.

A native of Illinois, Sam Litt earned his Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Music Technology and a Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During his studies, Mr. Litt was appointed as a teaching assistant with the historic Illinois bands program working heavily with the athletic bands and served as director of the volleyball band.
